NAHMA LEGISLATIVE ACTION: Project-Based Section 8 Emergency Supplemental Funding
PLEASE SUPPORT AN EMERGENCY APPROPRIATION OF $2.8 BILLION to fully fund Project-Based Section 8 Contracts for their 12 month terms.
The FY 2008 Consolidated Appropriations legislation (P.L. 110-161) provides $6.14 billion for renewals to Project-Based Section 8 housing; however, this is not enough to fully fund contract renewals for their 12 month terms.
